OHSU IPA

Location: Portland, OR

Highlights: Flying an excavator up on a bench to excavate a new soil nail wall and grade a drill bench for a micropile foundation.

OHSU CEI ECEC

Location: Portland, OR

Highlights: We prepared the site for the new Children’s Eye Clinic at OHSU’s main campus on Marquam Hill. This new building has been placed in a logistically challenging location on the hillside. Not only did our team excavate through basalt rock for the foundation, but we operated between an ambulance route and operational hospital facilities.

OHSU CHH South

Location: Portland, OR

Highlights: ​Urban mass excavation in Portland’s South Waterfront district to facilitate the construction of the Rood Family Pavilion adjacent to OHSU’s campus. This building now offers pediatric patients and their family’s private quarters to rest and recover as a home away from home.

Camp Withycombe AFRC

Location: Clackamas, OR

Highlights: Coffman became part of this design build project during the Proposal Competition Stage. As Site Development Trade Partner, we assisted with site design all the way to final construction. In addition to typical site development (earthwork, utilities, grading), our team procured, and managed all site hardscape contractors which included 500,000sf of asphalt paving and 270,000sf of concrete paving.   

The Dalles Readiness Center

Location: The Dalles, OR

Highlights: Immediately after the successful Camp Withycombe project, our project team won a design competition to build the new joint Oregon Military Department, Columbia Gorge Community College building. Despite this project's many challenges, Coffman was able to utilize their design build experience and deliver a project under budget and ahead of schedule all while causing minimal impact to the existing college campus.   

Tualatin Entrance Monument

Location: Tualatin, OR

Highlights: Design/Build team member participating primarily in the construction side of the City of Tualatin’s entrance monument.  This monument includs bronze artistry from Oregon’s renowned sculptor, Rip Caswell, and a massive limestone sign imported from Mountain Home, Idaho.
